Abstract

The article addresses the decision of the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF), which establishes objective criteria for the coverage of treatments not included in the list of procedures defined by the Brazilian National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS), representing a significant milestone in the legal evolution of the Brazilian supplementary health system.
