Privacy Statement
1 – Commitment to Privacy
The term “personal data,” as used in this Policy, refers to information such as name, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), or email address, which may be used to identify you. JBAS will not process the user's personal data without their authorization. When processing the user's personal data, we are committed to fully complying with nationally and internationally recognized privacy protection standards. By complying with these standards, we guarantee that our personnel adhere to strict security and confidentiality standards. The sections below explain how and when the developer of this application collects users' personal data.
2 – Intended Use of Personal Data
When registering on the website, the user may be asked to fill in some fields (some mandatory and others optional). Under these circumstances, if the user chooses to refuse to provide the requested personal data, this refusal may result in denial of access to certain parts of this website and the inability to respond to inquiries. JBAS processes personal data for specific and limited purposes. User data will be kept for the period of time reasonably necessary for that specific purpose and in accordance with current requirements, whether technical or legal, relating to document retention.
3 – Non-Disclosure of Information
JBAS undertakes not to sell, share or otherwise distribute users' personal data to third parties. However, data may occasionally be transferred to third parties to the extent that they work with JBAS or on its behalf, for subsequent processing within the purpose(s) for which the data was originally collected.
4 – Right of Access
The user has the right to access and update their personal data or request its deletion. We will make efforts to ensure that personal data is up-to-date, accurate and complete. If the user wishes to access or correct their personal data, this can be done on the website itself. Requests for deletion of personal data are subject to ethical notifications or document protocol.
5 – Security and Confidentiality
To guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data registered online, JBAS uses, among other things, a standard firewall (security system) protected by a password. Access to personal data is restricted to employees who are required to use the data and who have received adequate training for its correct handling, strictly observing confidentiality rules. If an employee violates this policy, they will be subject to the sanctions provided for such cases. Although we cannot guarantee against loss, misuse, or alteration of data, we will try to prevent such occurrences.
6 – Anonymous Data and Cookies
Most of the information collected is anonymous, such as pages visited or searches performed by the user. When using the site, no personal data is collected from the user, unless expressly authorized by them. Anonymous information is processed to help improve the application's content and to compile statistical data. In some cases, the use of cookies that collect information about the user's top-level domain, as well as the date and time of access, may be necessary. Cookies do not harm the functioning of the website.
7 – Spam
JBAS does not condone the practice of sending spam. The practice of sending spam can be defined as the transmission of unsolicited emails, usually of a commercial nature, in large quantities and repeatedly to people with whom the sender has had no prior contact or who have declined to receive such messages.
8 – Links
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the website in question, excluding any other third-party websites that may be accessed through it. These will be displayed to the extent that they may be of interest to users. Due to the nature of the Internet, we are unable to guarantee the standard of all the links it offers or to be responsible for the content of third-party websites.
