About the Journal

The Brazilian Journal of Health Auditing - JBAS was created in 2021 with the aim of publishing scientific content that contributes to access to healthcare in an ethical and sustainable way.

In addition to traditional formats for scientific papers, with original and review articles, JBAS is open to case reports, letters, testimonials, management experiences, in short, any content that encourages the sharing of knowledge and improves the practice of auditing in all areas of healthcare.

Our target audience is healthcare professionals and managers in the medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, and other fields.

Until December 2025, our content was made available electronically every four months; from 2026 onwards, a continuous flow publication schedule was adopted.

This Journal offers immediate open access to its content, following the principle of making scientific knowledge freely available to the public.

No subscription, submission, evaluation, editing, or publication fees are charged.
